AltaMix Concrete is a family-owned precast manufacturer in Didsbury, AB. We engineer and pour the pads, barriers, bunks and walls that farms and contractors across Central Alberta build on. Then we deliver them with our own crane trucks.
Our Story
From Ready-Mix to Precast
Colter and Krystal Hutton started AltaMix Concrete in May 2013, supplying ready-mix concrete to residential, commercial, industrial and agricultural customers throughout Central Alberta.
In 2015 we branched into precast, casting a small line of products out of a 3,200 sq ft shop. Today AltaMix runs a 7,500+ sq ft covered facility with a 7.5-tonne overhead crane and a fleet of crane trucks. That lets us build bigger and haul farther, and we place every piece exactly where it needs to go.
